Present simple |
I will be able to put my reading comprehension to understand the
habits of the text about reduce, reuse and recycle. To do this, I will
recognize and use the affirmative and negative structure of present simple in
third-person singular to answer some questions about bad habits with garbage,
like the video, and good habits with the reduce, reuse and recycle, like
Sarah’s reading. |
Present simple tense in affirmative and negative form can be used to
describe habits. Students will be focused on general fact about texts; then,
they will understand the main ideas to have good habits. |

I will be able to talk about some routines that people have to live in
hard situations. To do this, I will use the affirmative and negative structure of present simple in third-person singular to

I will be able to describe all the things that I can find in my city
and my neighborhood. Moreover, I will be able to understand the cultural
history of my city by means of reading strategies. To achieve these goals, I
will use There is and There are in affirmative and negative structure to
specify each aspect of the place that I live. |
The expression There is/There
are in affirmative and negative form is used to describe the existence of
things, animals or people around the world. Students will recognize every
aspect of their city and their neighborhoods to understand how is the place
they live. |
-Describe pictures about different places of Tunja. -Read texts about Tunja and the legend of Hunzahua’s lagoon. -Write a short text describing their neighborhoods. -Draw the neighborhoods like a Pre-Hispanic landscape. |

I will be able to do a short oral presentation about healthy recipes
to take care of my body and I will be able to suggest some healthy habits to
my classmates. For this purposes, I will use the quantifiers SOME, in
affirmative and interrogative sentences, and ANY in negative and
interrogative sentences. |
The quantifier SOME is used to talk about a limited number or amount
(but we do not know or we do not want to say the exact quantity). SOME is usually use with affirmative sentences. The quantifier ANY is
used to talk about a limited number or amount, but it is used in negative and
interrogative sentences. |

I will be able to describe my house and each element that composes it
and I will be able to give directions in my city, both objectives in terms of
recognizing the place where I live. To do this, I will use the prepositions
of place. |
The prepositions of place are used to refer to a place or space where
something or someone is located. By means of these prepositions, people can
locate, for example, places, things, other people or animals as they
recognize their own environment. |

to describe large quantities (a lot, much, many) and small quantities (a
little, a bit, a few). |
-Read dialogues where people buy different products. -Listen dialogues about exchange products. -Make a oral role-play game using quantifiers to buy a product. |
