I.              VOCABULARY

 

Expresiones de tiempo.

 

EL PRESENTE CONTINUO SE EMPLEA NO SOLO PARA ACCIONES QUE ESTAN OCURRIENDO EN EL MOMENTO PRESENTE, SINO TAMBIEN PARA HABLAR DEL FUTURO ESPECIALMENTE CUANDO SE TRATA DE ACCIONES PREVIAMENTE PLANIFICADAS.

 

 

Las expresiones de tiempo que te mostramos a continuación se pueden emplear con el presente continuo.

 

 

Now                ahora                                      this week                    esta semana

Right now       ahora mismo                          this weekend              este fin de semana

Today             hoy                                         this month                   este mes                   

Tomorrow       mañana                                  this year                      este año

Later               luego                                       next week                   la próxima semana

 

 

Veamos algunos ejemplos:

 

-       Mum´s cooking dinner right now                        Mamá está haciendo la cena ahora mismo.

-       We´re going to the doctor today                        Hoy vamos al medico

-       Kate´s leaving tomorrow                                   Kate se va mañana

-       They ´re having lunch with uncle John later.       Van a comer con el tío John luego.

-       Tim´s flying to New York this week                    Tim vuela a Nueva York esta semana.

-       Harry´s coming to visit this month.                    Harry viene de visita este mes.

-       We are getting married this year.                      Nos casamos este año.

Empleamos el verbo to wear en presente continuo, para hablar de algo que llevamos puesto. Ejemplo: I´M WEARING A WATCH AND PAIR OF GLASSES.

 

 

-       What are they wearing?                                                   ¿Qué llevan puesto?

-       She´s wearing a blue skirt                                                Lleva una falda azul.

-       She´s wearing a black dress                                            Lleva un vestido negro

-       He´s wearing a coat, scarf and gloves.                          Lleva un abrigo, una bufanda y unos guantes

 

 

            Observa estos ejemplos:

 

                He´s not wearing a sweater. He´s wearing a jacket.                             No lleva un sueter. Lleva una chaqueta

                He´s not wearing a t-shirt. He´s wearing a shirt                                    No lleva una camiseta. Lleva una camisa.

                He´s not wearing trousers. He´s wearing shorts.                  No lleva pantalones largos. Lleva pantalones cortos.

 

               

               

                NO OLVIDES QUE EL VERBO TO WEAR, EN PRESENTE SIMPLE SIEMPRE LLEVA UNA (S), EN LA TERCERA PERSONA DEL SINGULAR (HE ALWAYS WEARS GLASSES- Siempre lleva gafas)

                                                               ( SHE NEVER WEARS SKIRTS- Nunca lleva falda)
